Reset your Chromebook

Option 1: Reset using shortcut keys

1. Sign out of your Chromebook.
   
2. Press and hold Ctrl, Alt, Shift, and R.
   
3. Click Restart.
   
4. In the box that appears, click Reset and sign in with your Google Account.
5. Follow the steps that appear.
   
6. Once you've reset your Chromebook, login with your Gmail account credentials.
7. Check if the problem is fixed
   

Option 2: Reset using the Settings menu

1. Sign in to your Chromebook.
   
2. Open a Chrome browser.
   
3. At the top right, click.
   
4. Click Settings .
   
5. At the bottom, click Advanced.
   
6. In the "Reset" section at the bottom, click Powerwash.
   
7. In the box that appears, click Restart and sign in with your Google Account.
   
8. Follow the steps that appear.
   
9. Once you've reset your Chromebook, login with your Gmail account credentials.
   
10. Check if the problem is fixed.
