Spotlight is located on tl-az-it-mon01
-
Connect via RDP or Desktops in Citrix

Use admin account.

Blue = informational: Service set to automatic, but not running, for example.

Click on a colored block:

Click on Processes box and diagnose: Services>Right click to Start Service. Sometimes Services will attempt restart 3 times but already create a ticket, ex. Greenshades, so you may find the service started:

For Blocked Process: go to Processes on the Server Overview page> Under Processes> choose Blocked and click Show me

Top level of tree is process, the rest are impacted

Don’t kill the process, but you can identify and send to Scott or Zach to kill. TempdB tickets can be closed without action.

Restarting a Service:

Click on Windows Server and Processes at the top:

then Services:
-
Right click to Stop and/or Start:
-
Clear Alerts under Sessions>Status
-
Highlight All and acknowledge (if alert comes back = active alert):
-
Some alerts like server reboot from updates have to be manually cleared.

For Yellow Disk Full alerts, use TreeSize application (C:\TreeSize):
