How to get one or more monitors functional again
If one or more of you monitors has gone blank this is most likely an issue with your dock:
- Unplug the USB-C cable from the right side of your Chromebook.
- Plug the USB-C cable back into your Chromebook using the other USB-C port that should also be located on the right side.
- If the monitor doesn’t return functionality, try plugging it back into its original port.
- Your dock will need to be powered off (it’s most likely located under your desk).
- You can either unplug the docks power source from the back of the dock or hit the orange power button on the white power strip pinned up under your desk near the dock.
- After the dock has been powered off for 10 seconds, power it back on by either plugging it back in or turning on the power strip again.
- If the monitor is still not showing a picture, try the top 3 steps again now that the dock has been power cycled.
